Mount Kailash is known as a holy site among Hindus, Bon, Buddhists, and Jains. Mount Kailash is believed to be the ultimate destination of souls and the spiritual destination of the whole World. This is also believed, the place of Lord Siva’s “The God of all Gods” in Hinduism.

It is also the home to Buddha Damchok, who represents the supreme bliss of Buddhism and the place of all spiritual power in the Bon religion. In this Holy Yatra, Lake Manasarovar, Lake Raktsesh, Tirthapuri, Asthapath, Nandi, and Kailash Parikrama are the most popular pilgrimage sites. It all has a historical story behind its importance. With all of these to be in Mount Kailash and Manasarovar have become Heaven on Earth.

Mount Kailash by Helicopter tour is specially designed for those people who are keen on adventure and spirituality but have less time. This tour also includes Lake Manasarovar, Raktsesh Taal, Kailash Parikrama, Tirathapuri, and Asthapth. Physical fitness is required for this trip.

TRIP DAY TO DAY ITINERARY

Day 01: Fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj

Day 02: Fly from Nepalgunj to Simikot by helicopter

Day 03: Full day free to acclimatize and relax at Taklakot

Day 04: Drive to Lake Mansarovar

Day 05: Drive to Darchen

Day 06: Kailash Parikrama

Day 07: Trek to Zutul Puk

Day 08: End of Parikrama

Day 09: Fly back to Nepalgunj

Day 10: Drive to Kathmandu or continue next destination.

DETAIL ITINERARY:

Day 01: Fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj:

Early morning, after breakfast, we will fly to Nepalgunj and stay overnight at a hotel

Day 02: Fly from Nepalgunj to Simikot by helicopter:

After breakfast, we fly to Hilsa (alt 3500m) by helicopter, then trek for about half an hour to the Tibetan border, Shera, and drive to Purang (Taklakot) and stay at the hotel.

Day 03: Full day free to acclimatize and relax at Taklakot

Day 04: Drive to Lake Mansarovar:

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manasarovar, through Rakchyas Taal on the way, and parikrama of Mansarovar on the same day (Alt, 4520m).- 4 hrs. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 05: Drive to Darchen:

We will perform puja and take a bath early morning, and after breakfast, we will drive to the first base camp, i.e., Darchen, and stay overnight at the camp.

Day 06: Kailash Parikrama:

Drive to the Kailash up to parikrama point and start trek to Derapuk, (Alt 4909 m)- 18 Km, 4/5 hrs walk and stay overnight at camp.

Day 07: Trek to Zutul Puk:

Trek to the Hardest but Holiest day of your pilgrimage Yatra crossing Dolma-La (pass) of 5650m between two valleys: Yamasthal should be crossed to reach the Shiva-Sthal, while your steps go closer to the pass. Once you reach the top, just do the holiest offering.

Once you step down, Gauri Kunda is on the way. By the late afternoon, we will be arriving at Zutul Puk (the cave of Miracles. The great ascetic Milerappa is supposed to have performed miracles here.

Day 08: End of Parikrama:

Parikrama ends near Darchen (alt 4700m) for 4/5 hrs and drives to Taklakot (3500m). Stay overnight at the guesthouse.

Day 09: Fly Back to Nepalgunj:

After breakfast, we will drive to the Shera border and proceed to Hilsa to complete immigration checking. From Hilsa, we will fly to Nepalgunj and stay overnight at a hotel.

Day 10: Drive to Kathmandu or Continue to the Next Destination:

After breakfast, we will fly to Kathmandu and stay overnight at the hotel. (Tour ends)

Cost Includes:

2 nights' hotel accommodation in Nepalgunj,

Nepalgunj- Hilsa- Nepalgunj by helicopter,

Guesthouse and tents in Tibet as per the itinerary,

Cost Excludes:

Using extra nights in a hotel/ guesthouse (except the hotels mentioned in the itinerary),

Porters for personal use while on Parikrama,

Rescue/ evacuation, or all the extra costs incurred due to splitting from the main group, or serious health conditions,

Airport taxes,

Insurance of clients,

Riding Horse for Kailash Parikrama (direct payable to horse owner), expenses of a Personal nature. (telephone, Puja Samagri, and Hawan Kund),

Any extra expenses due to flight delay/cancellation with a valid reason,

Any kind of local donations,

Yatris who are not doing parikrama will have to pay for their accommodation at Darchen (during the parikrama period),

Booking and payments

As per the new rules, trip booking should be done in advance, 1 month

A minimum 6-month valid passport is required.

25 days prior to the tour departure date, 50% of the total cost should reach the Aaradha Travels account by telex transfer with a color passport copy of the client.

And full payment should be made before departure for the Kailash Manasarovar Yatra.

Tour Cancellation Policy:

All notices of cancellation must be sent to our office in writing.

Verbal cancellations will not be entertained.

20 days before trip departure, 10% of the total trip cost.

15 days before trip departure, 25% of the total trip cost.

7 days before trip departure, 35% of the total trip cost.

3 days before trip departure, 50% of the total trip cost.

Once clients arrive in Kathmandu thereafter no refund will be made

Risk and Liabilities:

We always strive to make your journey smooth and pleasant. However, all the Tibet tours and treks are run strictly by the Tibet Tourism Bureau. Aaradhana Travel or its Tibet counterpart agent shall not be responsible for any alteration or cancellation of the program due to any unavoidable circumstances beyond control, such as road blockade, landslide, snow, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delayed arrival, lack of transport, visa rejected by Chinese authorities, sickness or accident.

Any extra cost incurred there shall be borne by the clients on the spot. Since Tibet is a very remote place and roads are very rough, sometimes good vehicles may break braked.

We highly advised the clients to have full insurance against medical, trip cancellation, and personal accident risk.

The given cost is non-commissionable.
